Diet App helps you plan and track your own meals. It only collects what it needs to do that, uses it only to run the service, never sells it, and lets you delete it. This page explains exactly what that means.
To run the service for you: plan your week of meals, write the recipes, keep your pantry and calorie/macro tracking current, and let the coach answer questions and make changes. That's it — no advertising, and we do not sell your data.
To generate your plans, recipes, and coach replies, the relevant parts of your data (your messages, pantry, goals, and any photos you send) are processed by AI providers Anthropic and OpenRouter acting on our behalf, and food-name lookups may query the U.S. Department of Agriculture's public FoodData Central service. We share only what those steps need, and only to provide the service to you.
Your data is stored on our server for as long as your account is active. Items you delete in the app are recoverable for a short window (about 48 hours) and then permanently removed. You can ask us to delete your account and everything in it at any time.
You can view, edit, and delete your pantry, goals, and logged meals directly in the app. To delete your whole account and its data, contact us and we'll remove it.
Questions, or want your data deleted? Reach the developer at the support email shown on the app's Google sign-in screen. If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
